To promote parents’ interest in the school and to further communication among parents, students, teachers and administration for the benefit of our children’s education. The committee will serve as a forum for parents to raise questions, share ideas, organize school events and fundraise for special needs.
Becoming a member of the Parent Committee is a great way to become involved in your child's education and meet other parents from the school. The time commitment is minimal. We plan special events throughout the year for our children and families, teachers and staff, and the greater Ahwatukee community. Our fundraising has helped to subsidize new equipment, program enrichments, a drinking fountain, and campus beautification projects. We participate in holiday celebrations, volunteer as classroom helpers and assist with class picture days.
Feedback and suggestions are always welcome. We encourage all preschool parents to join in the fun and reward of God’s Garden Parent Committee!
