June is National Hunger Awareness Month
You can help out our neighbors in need by bringing food to worship and depositing it in the large basket in the back of the worship center. This food goes to Matthew’s Crossing Food Bank in Chandler which distributes to more than 3000 individuals and families. Summers are usually a difficult time at the food bank because donations are usually lower while the need for food remains the same. Items that are especially needed include rice, beans, pasta, canned fruits and vegetables, cereal, canned fish and peanut butter. Let’s see if we can fill up the food basket several times during the summer months.
