Our Campaign for Hunger
Food Pantry at Horizon: Horizon has established a Food Pantry to be stocked with “Care Kits” for those in our faith community who might need occasional help with groceries. The designated collection box can be found in the Worship Center. Items needed are: peanut butter, tuna, rice, pasta, beans, cereal or other non-perishable food items. If you have any questions or would like to help assemble the kits, please contact any Deacon. Thank you for helping us to be a blessing to those around us.
Matthew's Crossing: Food donations in the designated collection box also go to Matthew's Crossing Food Bank in Chandler which distributes to more than 3,000 individuals and families. Matthews Crossing serves all the East Valley. Items that are especially needed include rice, beans, pasta, canned fruits and vegetables, cereal, canned fish and peanut butter.
Feed My Starving Children: a non-profit Christian organization committed to feeding God’s children hungry in body and spirit. The approach is simple: children and adults hand-pack meals specifically formulated for malnourished children, and we ship the meals to nearly 70 countries around the world.
